This development is Ireland’s first modular ‘build-to-rent’ and we are delighted it has been granted planning permission without any reduction in height or number of units. The development which is located right beside the Cookstown Luas Stop will provide nearly 200 units to the burgeoning ‘build-to-rent’ sector.

The proposal includes the demolition of an existing industrial building to accommodate the construction of 196 ‘build-to-rent’ residential units, of a variety of types to accommodate modern living. These units will be arranged in four blocks that range from 6-9 storeys over basement in height. The development will include one commercial unit, an office, a crèche and a gym to bring street-level activity to the ground floor level. The design accommodates 6 communal amenity spaces at ground and first floor levels, as well as a communal hot desk room and three communal secure storage spaces.
