C+W O’Brien Architects and Prime Living (Irl) push ahead with plans for a first-of-its-kind flagship development on a site located within the Sandyford Industrial Estate, Co. Dublin.

The development designed by C+W O’Brien Architects, will mark Prime Living’s (Irl) first large scale venture into the Irish market and provide much-needed student accommodation for the Dublin market.

The proposed landmark modular development exploited from a previously granted permission for 147 residential apartments to 817 student units thanks to C+W O’Brien Architects proposal exercising an efficient and innovative design approach, to maximize and unlock the site development potential.  Reaching nine stories in height and high density, the development marks largest modular building of this scale in Ireland. The majority of the flagship development is to be constructed through modular off-site prefabricated construction.

The landmark development is set to provide high quality living spaces and amenities at a low-cost with extensive on site amenities.

The project includes a large well equipped gym, a laundrette, a café, a large open double height communal lounge space, a mezzanine level to include games space, private study spaces, a movie room, a 2,300m2 roof garden deck with a basketball court and climbing wall, and secure car and bicycle parking. The development is set to start construction later this year.
