Giovanni Concer

Architect / 3D Graphics Artist

Giovanni is a forward-thinking architect specializing in the integration of computational design and cutting-edge technology into architectural projects. Since graduating in 2018, he has developed a robust expertise in 3D visualization and parametric design, continuously evolving his approach to the built environment.

With proficiency in industry-leading tools such as Blender and Unreal Engine, Giovanni crafts immersive experiences that bring architectural visions to life. His portfolio includes high-quality interactive models and virtual reality environments, offering clients a deeply engaging experience. Additionally, his skills extend to a wide array of software including Revit, Rhino3D/Grasshopper, Photoshop, SketchUp, and Lumion, ensuring versatility in delivering innovative design solutions.

Giovanni’s journey in computational architecture began during his academic years, where he collaborated with professors on a project focused on the parametric modeling of the Wikihouse building system. This nearly two-year project, centered around Grasshopper—a plug-in for Rhino3D—resulted in a sophisticated system capable of generating entire buildings based on predefined parameters. This experience inspired Giovanni to take an unconventional approach for his final thesis, where he developed a Python-based tool for Grasshopper designed to optimize comfort solutions in architectural designs.

With a deep passion for technology-driven design, Giovanni continues to push the boundaries of innovation, blending architecture, design technology, and immersive digital experiences to shape the future of the built environment.
