Here at C&W O’Brien we strive to make the construction stage of your project as stress free as possible. It is our philosophy that to ensure a project runs as smoothly as possible, that all aspects of the project are reviewed and detailed out in a full to produce a comprehensive Tender Package at Tender stage which has been fully coordinated with the wider Design Team using the latest in BIM technologies. This is followed through to construction stage to ensure complete and fully coordinated design team information is delivered to the contractor in a timely manner during construction stage. Doing so ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget.
We are fully engaged with the Building Control Management System(BCMS) and have full working knowledge of the Building Control Regulations 1997-2018 and the Building Control (Amendment) Regulations 2014.
We act as Ancillary Design Certifiers in line with the above on all our projects and feed into the projects Assigned Certifier. We have and are employed as Assigned Certifier on a number of our current projects and can provide this service should you require. To date we have been successful in getting numerous projects registered and validated on the BCMS.
Our in-house Construction Manager will be involved in our projects from inception, through statutory approvals to onsite completion to ensure compliance with the Irish Building Regulations.
All detailed design is reviewed by experienced technical staff which bring years of experience in a variety of construction methods to the table ensuring the completed building is of the highest possible quality. The production information is reinforced by robust NBS specifications and project management systems. Our staff keep up to date with the latest in building technologies and systems through continuing professional development (CPD’s) and have a full working knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and statutory design guidelines which is key in delivering a fully compliant building upon completion.
