C+W O’Brien Architects prepared the masterplan and outline proposals for 30MW Data Centre at Clonshaugh Business & Technology Park, Dublin.

The investigation for a Co-Lo provider first considered the conversion of existing buildings on the site before resulting in in a new facility, admin building and 110KV ESB Substation.


A feasibility study and masterplan were conducted by C+W O’Brien Architects to convert underutilised car parking lands at the HP facility. Liffey Park Technology Campus, Leixlip.

The development allowed for the phased expansion of data centres in 10-12MW increments culminating in a 60MW facility with admin building


C+W O’Brien Architects were appointed to provide architectural services for a 30MW Data Centre located in North Co. Dublin.

The scheme proposed new and innovative cooling strategies to ensure sustainability and add value for our clients.


The 45MW ‘Urban DC’ was proposed in a well-developed area resulting in the design and inclusion of many progressive features and technologies.

One notable feature is the use of an environmental green wall to reduce the impact of noise pollution on the surrounding area while also contributing towards sustainability.
